Mueller's impact extruded components are found in a variety of automotive applications including brakes, air conditioning components, steering, drive shafts, body mounts, and air bag components. Other markets served by Mueller Impacts include filtration systems, pole line hardware, medical, electronics, marine, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, as well as defense components.

Because Impact extrusions are made to close tolerances, secondary machining requirements are reduced or eliminated. In addition, because the process is highly versatile, our customers are sometimes able to replace multiple-part assemblies with a simple, one-piece design that is stronger, lighter, and less expensive to produce. Our ability to produce in variety and consistent quality is matched only by our ability to produce in high volume.
