Through internal growth and acquisition Mueller has become one of the largest producers of copper tube in the world and is the only U.S. copper tube manufacturer that also makes copper fittings. Mueller has been able to increase copper tube manufacturing capability by rationalizing production between its major U.S. plants.

Mueller has invested millions to improve and expand its copper tube manufacturing capability. These investments improved all major manufacturing processes including casting extrusion, drawing and finishing. We are dedicated to being one of the most efficient tube mills ensuring reliable supply of the broadest possible product line for our customers.

Mueller established an unparalleled reputation in the refrigeration market with dehydrated and nitrogen purged and sealed service tube. The Nitrogenized^® process patented by Mueller reduces oxidation to an absolute minimum in hard length tube and is clearly the preference of contractors.

Mueller first began offering line sets in 1996.

In 1930, Mueller Brass Co. invented and pioneered the now famous Streamline^TM solder-type fittings. That development led to making all-copper plumbing the industry standard.

Today, Mueller offers a complete line of wrot and cast solder-type pressure fittings and DWV solder-type fittings. Mueller recently completed a new multi-million dollar high-volume fittings plant adjacent to our copper tube mill in Fulton, Mississippi. This new plant encompasses the most modern, technologically advanced manufacturing equipment and processes available in the world. Coupled with the modernization of fittings plants in Covington, Tennessee, and Port Huron, Michigan, Mueller has invested substantially in copper fitting manufacturing capabilities.
