CA Supply Chains Disclosure
On January 1, 2012, the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 became effective. A company subject to this Act is required to disclose its efforts, if any, to address the issues of slavery and human trafficking in its supply chain.
Mueller Industries, Inc. and its subsidiaries are committed to fair employment practices and to compliance with employment laws in the United States and other countries where we manufacture or source products sold in our supply chain. Mueller Industries’ standard terms of purchase require that all suppliers comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Employment practices are included in this requirement. In addition, supplier facilities are generally audited by our personnel to insure that our requirements for manufacturing and sourcing
are being met.
